Running Log

One of the best ways to improve your training is to keep a running log. The benefits of keeping a log include the following:
  • A log keeps you motivated by giving you an incentive to go out for a run on days you don't feel like training; no one likes to put down zero miles for a day when he or she is completely healthy
  • A log helps you understand past errors in your training when you get injured or race badly
  • A log gives you confidence for races. Looking over past months of solid training log during the week of a big race should convince you that you are ready to run a great time.

Use the Free Runner's Resource On-line Running Log
